The royal scribe Butehamon, a well-known figure in the Egyptological scene, is still the focus of study and research to place the time of his death and the existence of his body. In this contribution, the authors present a newly discovered shroud from the funerary equipment of Butehamon and comment on the possible vicissitudes of his mummy. The shroud is now divided between two museum collections in Turin. The (virtual) recomposition reveals an original decoration compared to coeval funerary cloths from the Theban area.
